We value our privacy. We presume you value yours. Therefore,
the Human Relief Fund leaves no
cookies on your hard drive. None. Nor do we leave any adware,
any spyware, any malware. Unless you invite us to your computer
or other network system, we stay away. You won't find us secretly
poking around in your desktop or notebook, your handheld or cell phone, your
kitchen or backyard. We're with you only when you summon us.
Also, we don't share with anyone any information you share with us.
None. We don't sell it to
anyone, we don't rent it, we don't lease
it, we don't give it away. Unless you share
the same info about yourself with someone else, it's between you and us.
Period.
Online
donations to the Human Relief Fund are
secure. We use the industry's standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to
protect the information you send to us. SSL
technology encrypts the data in your donation, preventing it from being decoded
by anyone other than us. If in doubt, look for the "https"
in your web brower's address bar and/or the icon of a closed padlock on your web
browser's status bar. If hidden, these bars/toolbars can be
opened usually in the View menu of your browser. The icon of the
closed
padlock and "https" confirm independently, at any website,
that a transaction is secure.
